Welcome To My Forty Acres

Conceived and produced by Rusean D. Myers, My Forty Acres is a design testimony, which demonstrates the artistry, experience and dedication of an active designer. One could argue that the modern conception of visual design exists as a marriage between artistic fundamentals and technological utility. Consequently, the substance of these design principles is evident in the work displayed in the portfolio section of the site.

The site was originally created in the spring of 2006 as an exclusively interactive piece. It combined gritty urban graphics with a clean typographic treatment. Four years later, the site has undergone a radical makeover, departing from its original flash based orientation to its current state. The visual transition reflects a more mature approach to design, by utilizing the flexibility of HTML and CSS.
